You can use your master username and password to have FTP access to your entire web space.

Alternatively, you can setup restricted access to certain folders by creating additional FTP user accounts via. your Control Panel.

Below are different ways to use FTP with Mac OS X and Windows PC's.



Mac OS X:
The best way to access the site by FTP is to use a dedicated software application, here's two free Mac applications you can download & use:

Fetch:




Simply drag-n-drop to and from the directory window...

Transmit:




Simply drag-n-drop to and from the directory windows...

Windows:

For Windows operating systems you can use Internet Explorer or a web browser or a stand alone application, here's two examples:


Web Browser:






Now, simply drag-n-drop to and from the directory window...

WS_FTP:




Simply drag-n-drop to and from the directory windows...



The only limitation on FTP is the speed of your ISP's broadband connection.

Note: Shareware programs usually have a limitation on connection time or transfer size. Your should buy or pay any Shareware fee to get full functionality of these programmes.
