How do I configure email using Outlook Express?
To set up your pop account you must follow the procedure below...
1/ Launch Microsoft Outlook Express.
Click on the Tools menu.
Select Accounts.

Click Add > mail.

Enter your Display Name.
Now click Next.
Enter your E-mail Address.
Now click Next.

Make sure your incoming e-mail server is a POP3 server.
Enter in the Incoming mail server field the following:-
mail.jrphosting.co.uk (or mail.yourdomain.xxx )
Now enter your Outgoing mail server name (please note there are additional steps required below to make your outgoing mail server work)
mail.jrphosting.co.uk( See IMPORTANT NOTE below )
Now click on Next.

Type your username and password correctly.
Now click Finish.

To make your outgoing mail server work you must set some additional information, so, click 'Properties'".

Now click the 'Servers' tab at the top of the screen.
Tick the box at the bottom of the screen that says 'My server requires authentification'.
Now click 'Settings' and ensure the new window is looks like the image below...

Now click 'OK'
Now click 'Apply' or 'OK' again,
Then click 'Close'.
You are now ready to receive e-mails on your shared hosting account at JRP Hosting. IMPORTANT NOTE: If you cannot send email and get an error, you will have to use your ISPs smtp outgoing email server.
